A true winter wonderland enjoyed by all – the first time the kids have ever sledged and the first time in a while for the adults!
A wonderfully, comfortable home from home; even for those of us under the weather. Little touches making us feel welcome and at home. So much land to explore and Seb seemed to make himself king of the island!

Wonderful house, well equipped kitchen, we cannot think of anything that we would change to improve this home.
Much to our surprise for such a large house we found it lovely and warm.

Thank you Toni and Gerard for a warm welcome to your beautiful country retreat.
Wonderfully equipped for our relaxing stay away, we enjoyed cooking on the Aga and stoking the fire – a real novelty for us city girls! Perfectly decorated, we wouldn’t change a thing.... Except maybe stay longer next time!
We hope the hens enjoyed our company....
And Jen’s going home to ask her husband for an Aga!!

Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere, was great!
Been fattening the only duck on the pond - Alfie is disappointed to leave the duck behind.

The Humphreys
We have had an absolutely amazing time! This is probably the best holiday home we heve ever stayed in, The rooms are gorgeous and cosy and decorated so well also the art work is amazing! The kids have had tons of fun in the garden and the dogs have had a whale of a time too!

The Bigwoods
Disappointing weather compensated by amazing accommodation, beautifully equipped and cosy.
Even enjoyed a blazing fire in July!!!
We would recommend eating at the ‘Cornmill’ in Llangollen and the ‘Manorhaus’ in Ruthin, latter a little expensive but well worth it.
Dogs really happy and well catered for.

We have had the most amazing time in your fabulous house, none of us want to leave. The children have spent hours exploring the grounds.
This is without a doubt the most homely and relaxing holiday house we have ever stayed in, not to mention the most stunning.
